Together with his wife, Karen, Pastor David began his ministry as Associate Pastor on October 1, 2014. They arrived here from Three Hills, Alberta.
Pastor David had retired in the fall of 2011 and began a ministry of Transitional Pastoral Leadership. Over the years he had ministered in churches across the United States and in Alberta. Eleven years before retirement, he taught Bible and Theology courses at a college and was the Pastoral Ministries Chair. After much prayer, David decided to return to pastoral ministry in the local church, and found the answer to his prayers in coming to the Pastoral Staff at Waldheim M B Church.
David’s life verse summarizes his attitude and desire for ministry:
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
It has always been David and Karen’s desire to demonstrate the work of J*sus Chr*st in their lives, in relationship to their children and grandchildren, to those in the churches they serve, and to the communities in which they live.
As a pastoral leader in a local church, his desire is to encourage a disciplined Chr*stian life for all believers through being an example and through preaching and teaching.
